IHC Hematoxylin Counterstain Kit (300 Tests, VB-6004)
The counterstaining color will be light blue in nuclei. RTU Hematoxylin Solution 15ml ×2 (for 300 slides). Kit Contents.
VitroView™ Masson’s Trichrome Stain Kit (Cat# VB-3016)
Rehydrate: ethanol 100% (2 minutes)x2; ethanol 95% (2 minutes)x2; ethanol 70% (2 minutes)x1; Rinse in distilled water (5 minutes). Mordant in Bouin’s Solution, 60°C for 1 hour. Prepare Weigert’s working hematoxylin: mix Weigert’s Hematoxylin Solution A and B at 1:1 ratio.
VitroView™ Modified Gomori’s Trichrome Stain Kit (Cat#VB-3014)
(This kit is designed for both formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue and frozen tissue section. Sample preparation: 1) Frozen tissue: Cut 10 – 16 micron (12 µm) sections in a cryostat from snap frozen tissue.
VitroView™ Toluidine Blue Stain Kit (Cat# VB-3013)
The pH should be around 2.3 and less than 2.5. Make this solution fresh and discard after use. Toluidine Blue Stain Kit is designed for staining of formalin fixed, paraffin embedded tissue sections.
VitroView™ Oil Red O Stain Kit (Cat# VB-3007)
VitroView™ Oil Red O Stain Kit and Protocol Video Oil Red O Stain Kit is used for lipid and fat staining on formalin fixed frozen sections. It is not suitable for paraffin embedded tissue sections.
VitroView™ 10% Neutral Buffered Formalin Fixative Solution (Ready-to-Use, 1Lx2)
The significance of formalin as a fixation agent lies in its ability to penetrate tissues rapidly and create cross-links between proteins and its chemical properties make it ideal for preserving the morphology and antigenicity of tissues, hence its widespread use in laboratories.
Phosphate Buffered Saline (PBS, 10×, 1L; VB-6000)
Phosphate Buffered Saline (PBS, 10×) contains a 10× concentrated formulation of phosphate buffered saline (PBS) that can be used as a wash buffer during immuno-labeling procedures. PBS (10×), pH 7.4————–1L.
VitroView™ Zinc Formalin Fixative Solution (Ready-to-Use, 1L)
VitroView™ Zinc Formalin Fixative Solution is a non-precipitating fixative compatible with histochemical, immunochemical and special stains. Zinc formalin provides better IHC and molecular performance than buffered formalin while maintaining equivalent histologic detail.
Citrate Buffer (pH 6.0, 1x 1 L, VB-6006)
Citrate buffer is the preferred solution for most antibodies. A ntigen retrieval buffer for immunostaining.
VitroView™ EDTA Decalcification Solution (pH 7.2, Ready-to-Use, 1Lx2)
Sample Preparation and Decalcification Procedure. Gently agitate periodically to enhance decalcification. Or replace solution periodically (every 24–48 hours) for optimal performance. Remove tissue from EDTA decalcifying solution.
